There is far more to Coron than just the beaches and islands that it has been been famous all over the world for. This half day tour will bring you to the most noteworthy sightseeing destinations in Coron town with the company of an English speaking guide. You will head up to Mt. Tapyas, the highest point in the area, where you can look out at the view deck and see a gorgeous panorama of the town. Then you’ll visit the Maquinit Hot Springs, which have been made famous for their therapeutic properties. A stop at the public market will acquaint you with local colors and customs, as well as give you the opportunity to shop through the arts and crafts that are produced by the locals. The town plaza will give you a glimpse of what every day is like for people of Coron, and how they go about their days in such a tourist-famous town. Lualhati Park will be a great opportunity to get that riverside view of the town, standing at the dock and able to look out over the water. After some more free time to go souvenir shopping, you will head to the famous St. Augustine Church, where you’ll learn of its historical background. You’ll be able to then take a look into the locals’ cashew harvest, which is one of the crucial factors of the local economy as the cashews are sent all over the Philippines as treats. There’s more to Coron than its beaches, and this trip will show you its true town colors.
This my 1st destination of town tour. Next to it is the market, a must-see every morning. There are also delicious smoothies. It is said that there are kebabs in the evening. The environment near the square is also good. You can take a good look around.
2nd destination. It is very famous among tourists as it offers a panoramic view of the bay area and the island’s coastlines. The park is mostly used for relaxation, meet-ups, and jogging. Lualhati Park is also the common starting point of island hopping tours in Coron.
3rd Destination. here are lot of souvenir shops in town but this one has a lot of stuff to adore. Clothes, scarves, hat, home decorations, ethnic stuff, purse, jewelries, and of course food. They have all of it here. You can also rent GoPro at this store.
4rth Destination. The church was founded in 1901, and the first chapel was constructed with the use of light materials. In 1932, developments were made on the church through the help of Rev. Fr. Joaquin Fernandez, OAR. The building was refurbished in 1969, while alterations of the altar and the vestry followed in 1993 under the direction of Rev. Fr. Mario Magbanua and Rev. Fr. Camilo C. Caabay, accordingly. In 2008, Rev. Fr. Manuel S. Manlavi commissioned the establishment of the church bell tower.
5th Destination. Cashew Factory is local Farm in Palawan this Product is Very Delicious is good for gift any family
6th Destination. Mt Tapyas is arguably the best viewpoint in Coron reaching 210 meters above Coron Town.If you’re up for a bit of exercise and want to witness an incredible sunset in Coron, Mount Tapyas is a must-see location on your next trip to Busuanga Island in Palawan.I have put together this easy guide to visiting Mt Tapyas Coron including how to get there, how much it costs, and what to expect when you arrive.
Seveth Destination. The Maquinit Hot Springs is one of the only few saltwater hot springs in the world. The 30-minute tricycle ride on the dusty road to the hot spring can be tough, but it gets rewarding once you have reached the spot. Here, mangrove trees surround the area, as if guardians of the stunning beach. There are two available pools of warm saltwater at the site. The flooring and walls of the pool are covered in pebbles. The pool temperature plays between 37° to 40° Celsius. While it certainly takes time to adjust the body to the temperature, remember that it gets more soothing and more therapeutic later on. Just don’t stay in the water too long

We decided to do this tour on our last day in Coron. It was fun and exciting especially hiking on a 721-724 steps in Mt. Tapyas. Actually I didn’t know that I can climb that far but we made it.. It’s all worth it once your on the top and experience the Coron sunset. Our tour guide Kuya Jojo gave us more information and history about Coron. He was very helpful and even offered to take some pictures and panoramic views on us. I would highly recommended this tour. Thank you elnidobooking.
