Tour A is most beloved because it will bring you to see not one but two of three beautiful lagoons located around Miniloc Island: either Small Lagoon or Big Lagoon, and Secret Lagoon. Swimming and snorkeling there is just amazing. Clear water, numerous fishes… you name it!
Tour A will then take you to Shimizu island, where you can snorkel and see corals and/or relax on the white sand beach. This is also where, most of the time, your boat will stop for lunch. With its great limestone cliffs covered with vegetation, a representative of the geological beauty of El Nido.
At the end of the day, the tour will stop of 7 Commando Beach, which has a long white sand beach, and where you can also find a little bar that will serve you refreshing drinks. While snorkeling there, you may encounter a few sea turtles, so keep your eyes open!

The big lagoon features the full beauty of El Nido’s lagoons: rippling clear waters, rock formations around you and under the water, like an idyllic marine waterway. The Secret Lagoon is straight out of a storybook, where you duck into a small entrance to reveal a secluded pool of crystal water surrounded by rocks, bringing back memories of stories of mermaids and fairytales. After lunch, you’ll head to Shimizu Island’s white beaches and get to experience its untouched natural beauty nestled in the waters. You’ll the learn of the name origins of 7 Commando Beach, your next stop, where you’ll be able to relax and take a dip in the clear blue ocean. There’s no doubt that this tour of El Nido will take you to a world of aquatic wonder, one you will not soon forget.
Seven Commandos Beach is part of Tour A in El Nido, which is the most popular tour. Everyone wants to see the Big Lagoon and Small Lagoon. I don’t blame them they are both epic. This tour is a good mix of snorkeling and sightseeing, hanging on beaches and swimming. It can get crowded but that is the nature of the beast in El Nido. The most beautiful places are the most popular more often than not.
This majestic Miniloc Island lagoon called Big Lagoon is one of El Nido island-hopping tour A’s highlights, one of El Nido’s most popular tours. As you enter the Big Lagoon, everything is a sight to behold — the crystal-clear blue water, the ray of light peeking through the top of the cliffs, and the luscious calcareous formation. The Big Lagoon of Island-hopping Tour A has become popular for its elegance as seen from drone shots to kayak views in several movies and postcards.
Shimizu Island is one of the numerous ones dotting El Nido’s Bacuit Bay. This small island had become a popular spot for snorkeling because of its colorful marine life. It’s part of the Tour A island-hopping package and an alternative stopover spot for lunch, so it can get a bit crowded here during midday.
The Japanese-sounding name makes one wonder about the island’s origin. According to guides and boatmen, a group of scuba divers explored the waters of El Nido decades ago, and one of them didn’t make it back from a deep underwater tunnel. Days were spent searching for the diver’s body until it was found on an island with imposing rock formations and fine white sand. The deceased diver’s last name was Shimizu, and the island was later named after him.
Payong-Payong is one of the picturesque white sand beaches on Miniloc Island. The beach is a popular stop for lunch during El Nido’s Tour A island-hopping option. The idyllic setting consists of a small beach, amazing cliffs, and commanding rock formations. There are several trees dotting the island, which provide the perfect shade for picnics.
The crystal-clear waters of Payong-Payong Beach are abundant with fishes and corals perfect for snorkeling. The waves are just small and gentle, which makes it great for leisurely swimming. Because there are no hoops and volleyball nets here, there is not much to do here but just chill and rest after a hearty lunch stop. You can explore the cliffs offshore but make sure that you wear the right shoes – the rocks in El Nido are rough and sharp and Payong-Payong Beach is no exception.
It’s no secret that El Nido has been blessed with more than its fair share of postcard perfect scenic locations. From majestic limestone formation jutting out from crystal clear turquoise seas to powdery white sandy beaches along its coastlines, not to mention the sheer diversity of marine wildlife in its perfectly hued oceans, its no wonder foreign publications have declared it the best beach and island destination in the Philippines.
As soon as your boat docks near the lagoon, your guide will direct you to a small opening hidden between a towering wall of limestone rocks by the seashore. It’s easy to miss this secret spot, and most people wonder if its possible to crawl through this tiny hole.
But once you get through it, you’ll be greeted by an unusual sight: a massive limestone rock formation surrounding a small body of water right in the middle of it.
Enclosed within a lagoon and eclipsed by towering rocks all around you, this awe inspiring scenery lends an otherworldly experience for visitors.
Depending on where your boat is parked, you’ll find more secret coves and hidden white sand beaches in the areas surrounding the secret lagoon. Take your time look around beyond the tiny opening to the secret lagoon, and you’ll be rewarded with more spectacular nooks and crannies waiting to be discovered.

the best tour
At 8:30 on the same day, the hotel will be connected to the hotel. The site will pay 400p/person, but there is no additional money to collect the goggles. The whole boat has 12 tourists, including 9 Taiwanese. It is very lucky. There is no tour C at noon. Great, the trip is to the small lagoon, the renting canoe is 300p, the journey starts at 9:00, and ends at 14:40. Then take the ride back to the city.
nice tour and guide
The beauty is not as beautiful as the slag. The guide on the ship is quite good, kind and humorous, and the service is very good. I care about our safety and help us take pictures.
Process A
The itinerary is great. The boatman is not only only working, but also funny, and taking care of the lifeguards. It is very tired in the day, but it is very worthwhile. It is just to go to the hotel to pick up, but the return trip clearly has to send, but it becomes a self, and feels like an anticlimax.
The overall itinerary is good, people dont feel that they are going to travel again, and the tour guides are very patient. They are very enthusiastic about sharing local characteristics and introducing interesting places. Although they will feel a little slow when they contact, this is the basic feature of the Philippines. It is highly recommended that others come to this trip!
