Your day begins with an early departure to El Nido Pier, where you’ll travel to your first stop: Helicopter Island, which earned its name for its unique rock formations that give the island the appearance of a helicopter from a distance. You’ll also visit Matinloc Shrine, which is also known as the Shine of Our Lady of Matinloc, a spritual oasis. After learning the stories behind this location, you’ll have a delicious barbecued lunch and then head off to the Secret Beach. Hidden away from the shoreline, it’s like your own private paradise! There’s also the Hidden Beach which is an amazing, cove-like wonder fit for a fantasy novel. Don’t miss out on the chance to see and swim in El Nido’s finest beaches
It’s a paradise of islands, lagoons, and beaches! Explore the beautiful islands of Bacuit Bay on this boat tour. Discover lagoons, beaches, and snorkeling spots on this one-of-a-kind activity. By midday, you will be treated to a delicious lunch, prepared by your boat crew.
Seven Commandos Beach is part of Tour A in El Nido, which is the most popular tour. Everyone wants to see the Big Lagoon and Small Lagoon. I don’t blame them they are both epic. This tour is a good mix of snorkeling and sightseeing, hanging on beaches and swimming. It can get crowded but that is the nature of the beast in El Nido. The most beautiful places are the most popular more often than not.
This majestic Miniloc Island lagoon called Big Lagoon is one of El Nido island-hopping tour A’s highlights, one of El Nido’s most popular tours. As you enter the Big Lagoon, everything is a sight to behold — the crystal-clear blue water, the ray of light peeking through the top of the cliffs, and the luscious calcareous formation. The Big Lagoon of Island-hopping Tour A has become popular for its elegance as seen from drone shots to kayak views in several movies and postcards.
Shimizu Island is one of the numerous ones dotting El Nido’s Bacuit Bay. This small island had become a popular spot for snorkeling because of its colorful marine life. It’s part of the Tour A island-hopping package and an alternative stopover spot for lunch, so it can get a bit crowded here during midday.
The Japanese-sounding name makes one wonder about the island’s origin. According to guides and boatmen, a group of scuba divers explored the waters of El Nido decades ago, and one of them didn’t make it back from a deep underwater tunnel. Days were spent searching for the diver’s body until it was found on an island with imposing rock formations and fine white sand. The deceased diver’s last name was Shimizu, and the island was later named after him.
Payong-Payong is one of the picturesque white sand beaches on Miniloc Island. The beach is a popular stop for lunch during El Nido’s Tour A island-hopping option. The idyllic setting consists of a small beach, amazing cliffs, and commanding rock formations. There are several trees dotting the island, which provide the perfect shade for picnics.
The crystal-clear waters of Payong-Payong Beach are abundant with fishes and corals perfect for snorkeling. The waves are just small and gentle, which makes it great for leisurely swimming. Because there are no hoops and volleyball nets here, there is not much to do here but just chill and rest after a hearty lunch stop. You can explore the cliffs offshore but make sure that you wear the right shoes – the rocks in El Nido are rough and sharp and Payong-Payong Beach is no exception.
It’s no secret that El Nido has been blessed with more than its fair share of postcard perfect scenic locations. From majestic limestone formation jutting out from crystal clear turquoise seas to powdery white sandy beaches along its coastlines, not to mention the sheer diversity of marine wildlife in its perfectly hued oceans, its no wonder foreign publications have declared it the best beach and island destination in the Philippines.
Matinloc Shrine is the second stop of El Nido Island Hopping Tour C. Matinloc Shrine is an abandoned site hidden at the foot of towering karst cliffs on the western coast of Matinloc Island. More formally known as the Shrine of Our Lady of Matinloc, it was built in 1982
Helicopter Island is the First stop of El Nido Island Hopping Tour C. Helicopter Island, officially named Dilumacad Island, got its name because of the shape it takes when you see it from a distance. Once you get closer, its soft cream-colored sand and cerulean waters will lure you in and keep you entranced. It is a good place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful beachscape.
Hidden beach is the 3rd stop of El Nido Island Hopping Tour C. Hidden beach are surrounded by limestone rocks formations. The swimming area resembles a natural infinity pool with crystal clear waters. The serenity of the place is manifested with the whistling of birds. Survivor Sweden finished their three month filming at this beach.
Secret beach is the 4rt stop of El Nido Island Hopping Tour C. Separated from the ocean through a small keyhole-like opening, Secret Beach is only accessible by swimming through this door size opening through a narrow crevice in a rock wall. The Tour Guide awaits you on the side of the opening, waits for the water to gush out then he grabs you and throws you in… Here you’ll see a beach surrounded by limestone cliffs which cannot be seen from open sea. Wow just WOW. Same as secret lagoon, try to enter this beach when there are only a few tourists. Best way to enjoy this is to book a private tour and head out an hour early and make it your first stop.
Talisay Beach is the Last stop of El Nido Island Hopping Tour C. Star Beach is another spectacular snorkeling site featuring the wonders and beauty of the coral reefs, colorful fish, star fish and sea urchins. 30 meters out and 15 meters down more often than not you’ll see some turtles. These beaches are usually our lunch stops. An adjacent private island cove can be had on our private tours.
